All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jammu, established in 2021, operates as a public medical research university and hospital under government management. Conceived on November 7th, 2015, and inaugurated by the Prime Minister on February 20th, 2024, it is the first AIIMS facility in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
